Author: Zehra Phelan

An update on the status of an Enchanted sequel has arisen from the depths of the film’s development from the film’s director, Adam Shankman, revealing that the project is finally moving along.

The follow-up, which has been in development since 2010, will be titled Disenchanted and will follow Giselle – which sees Amy Adams reprise her role – 10 years after the original. Set in New York, Giselle may be rethinking her love of the real world.

Whilst on the Television Critics panel for Step Up: High Water, the YouTube Red series he is producing based on the Step Up films, Shankman divulged the information of where the production stands at this point and what we can expect to see if the final script is greenlit.

“We are handing in a script in a couple weeks that I’m super happy with,” Shankman said, “Then gotta get the music written.

YouTube Puts Logan Paul’s Future Projects On Hold, But Doesn’t Cut Ties With Creator
Logan Paul’s YouTube Originals projects are on “indefinite hold,” YouTube executives confirmed at the Television Critics Association press tour Saturday — but they would not say that the platform had cut ties with him permanently and did not rule out working with him in the future.

YouTube chief business officer Robert Kyncl and head of original programming Susanne Daniels told reporters that when incidents arise involving YouTube talent, what’s most important is to “protect the community” of YouTube creators, advertisers, and viewers.

“We believe [Paul] made unfortunate missteps,” Kyncl told reporters. “Actions should speak louder than words and Logan has the opportunity to prove that.”

After uploading a tone-deaf and offensive video shot in Japan’s “suicide forest” last month, Paul’s appearances in the upcoming new season of the YouTube Originals series “Foursome” and a sequel to the 2016 film “The Thinning” were canceled. Meanwhile, the YouTube star has taken

‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Review: Tone-Deaf Franchise Entry Hits Another Low Note

‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Review: Tone-Deaf Franchise Entry Hits Another Low Note
Pitch Perfect 3” leans into its nostalgia from the very first needle drop: Director Trish Sie’s debut entry into the unlikely franchise kicks off with the Bellas – no more “Barden” attached to that moniker, because college is but a distant, sparkling memory to these a capella nerds now – working their way through an energetic and increasingly desperate rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” This desperation happens to make sense in context, but it’s a feeling that will only spread throughout the rest this mostly limp, tone-deaf entry in this musical series.

As the Bellas amiably chirp through their routine, it becomes obvious that this is no regular performance – for starters, they’re on a yacht, and everyone looks slightly uneasy. Then Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson, game as ever) blows said yacht up, launching “Pitch Perfect 3” into the bizarre imitation of a spy movie, set to the dulcet tones

Happy Birthday, Jenna Dewan-Tatum! Let's Look Back on Her 10 Best Dance Moments

Happy Birthday, Jenna Dewan-Tatum! Let's Look Back on Her 10 Best Dance Moments
It's Jenna Dewan-Tatum's birthday! The gorgeous actress turned 37 today, but she doesn't look a day older than when she got her start in the industry. Now, you may be thinking that was when she took on her major role in Step Up alongside her now-hubby Channing Tatum, but Jenna was deep in the entertainment world far before that. She danced competitively her whole life and eventually became a backup dancer for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera in the early 2000s. She went on to dance her way through several music videos, television shows and movies, like 2006's Take the Lead, all before she landed Step Up in...

Greece’s Right Wing Women Step Up In Chilling Doc ‘Golden Dawn Girls’ [Idfa Review]

It could be the name of a seniors-only a capella group, but the chummy, sunny title is misleading. If “Golden Dawn Girls,” which premiered in the main competition at the International Documentary Festival of Amsterdam (Idfa), represents any celestial event, it might well be an eclipse. The film follows a brief moment in recent Greek political life during which, with the (almost exclusively male) leaders of the movement all imprisoned, the womenfolk of the nation’s far-right party, Golden Dawn, literally stepped up to the mic.
