Was originally part of the True Crime franchise until a company bankruptcy caused a change in names to Sleeping Dogs.


The Deer Hunter (1978)
Christopher Walken's character says "It reminds me of a time when I was in Vietnam with a prositute", when he speaks to Marcus about babies crying. This is yet again a scene in which Walken himself was in in the film "The Deer Hunter".
King of New York (1990)
The subway chase at the end between Marcus and Terry is a direct reference to the one at the end of Christopher Walken's "King of NY", who is a cast member in the game.
Léon: The Professional (1994)
One of the mobster characters is on the phone and he screams the line: "I mean EVERYONE!"
