Storyline

Irreverent as ever, Larry The Cable Guy plays a big city health inspector who's happy with his usual beat of greasy spoon diners and low-rent ethnic restaurants. His easygoing life is turned upside-down when he's saddled with a straight-arrow rookie partner (Iris Bahr) and assigned the biggest case of his career: investigating an outbreak of mysterious food poisonings at the city's swankiest restaurants. Infuriating restaurateurs with his bad manners, Larry still manages to charm a sweet, shy waitress (Megyn Price) into a budding romance. But when his unorthodox methods cost him his job, Larry has to go undercover to bring the conspirators to justice and 'Git-R-Done!' Written by Anonymous

Bart Tatlock: Butlin!
Amy Butlin: You called me in, sir?
Larry: You gotta be kiddin' me. First I lose my promotion to the pissed off crippled feller that's only been here three weeks and now you expect me, a man of my tenure, to work with a dadgum boy?
Amy Butlin: I'm Amy... Butlin.
Larry: So your parents gave you a girly name to toughen you up? I like that.
Amy Butlin: I've been, uh, very eager to be part of a collaboration ever since I graduated from the academy, I really want to get out on the field and prop...

My honest opinion
5 June 2006 | by (Massachusetts, United States) – See all my reviews

I walked into the theater hoping I would get some good laughs. I went with my friend who worships Larry's humor. I left the theater disappointed. This movie is filled with the same joke over and over again. Basically overdone toilet humor. I have nothing against the humor, it's just the same jokes repeated over and over again. Nothing new or inventive here. Larry's humor was not creative. Just diarrhea jokes over and over throughout the whole entire movie! And that was the whole running gimmick! It became rather boring. This is a simple film which had the potential to be funny but destroyed it with horrible acting and boring humor.
