Very good show for learning basic sign language
Minty12327 April 2006
This show is obviously aimed at very young children, as it is full of repetition, and basic sentence structure. The best thing about it, at least for me, is that it features some very basic sign language, to help children learn to sign the various words that they may come across. For example, one show has a sea theme, and we learn the signs for dolphin, crab, octopus, and fish. The presenter stays positive and enthusiastic throughout, and there is encouragement for the viewer to join in with the signs, and lots of colour and stories to keep the child involved.

I think this is a great show, it teaches sign language in a positive way, and I would love to see more shows like this on TV.

Justin Fletcher at his best again
whiteshodan24 May 2006
Now we have I am sure all heard of Justin Fletcher as the voice of Jake and Doodles and of Tikkabila fame but this is something different.

It is basically a children's programme for very young children and encompass the use of sign language. Now having spent the past year looking after my twin daughters (now 2) we have found that whilst the content of the programme is repeated a number of times my girls have developed a great variety of words.

My daughter even rubs her nose when asked for the noise of a pig (the sign language for grunting).

The programme also have shorts showing the special children in the show at play and in the home, these are a pleasure to behold and help other children watching to see that there are different children all around.

Amazing at any age!

Even though these series are intended for children with learning and communication difficulties, my 4-year old son also loves the character of Mr. Tumble. And so do I. We started watching the series on the CBeebies channel, but now we have them on DVD as well. Mr. Tumble is an amazing friendly character, and there is much to learn from him. I surely can recommend the series for other parents. I also believe that children who watch this program are more likely to develop the noble qualities of patience and tolerance towards each other. Also through watching a child is getting the basics of the sign language, and I think this is a very good skill for the future. Just in case.

Mr Tumble Clown Part needs to be cut off from the show
oluwafemijohnson-531727 January 2022
God bless this show. The part I love is when he communicates with the kids featured in the show. They are filled with joy and smiles. The show should focus more on the sign languages.

But the clown scene gats to go. It is not funny a bit. I don't have a problem with clowns. But for this particular show, it ain't blending.

If new scripts can be rolled out. It will be appreciated.

Good job in all!!!
