Storyline

Down on his luck, but confident in his singing talent, Vic (VICTOR WOOD) accepts a low-paying job in a classy joint to forge influential connections. A wealthy widow (AMAPOLA) recognizes his talent and helps him with his career, and although committed to his childhood sweetheart, he finds himself beholden to the widow.
