Trivia:

According to director Kevin Lima, "thousands" of references are made to past and future works of Disney in Enchanted (2007), which serve as both a parody of and a "giant love letter to Disney classics". As Lima worked with Bill Kelly, the writer, to inject Disney references to the plot, it became "an obsession"; he derived the name of every character as well as anything that needed a name from past Disney films to bring in more Disney references.

Goofs:

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The dance at the end is the "King & Queen's Waltz", so the rhythm has to be 1-2-3, 1-2-3 etc., but it is actually a slower 1--2, 1--2 (or 1--2--3--4 if you want). Each actual beat COULD be imagined as a very quick 1-2-3, but nobody dances that fast. The dance is like a fox-trot, not a waltz.

a near perfect movie

so lovely! this is a film for singles looking for love, for kids, just an all around adorable film--so different and so inventive! LOVED it. (not to mention the cutest chipmunk scene you've ever seen!) everyone who walked out of the screening was smiling. it's so rare to find films that are really well put together script-wise, and this is definitely one of them. u might even want to see it more than once--it's that good. i literally fell in love with this film. Amy Adams is a delight--I was pleasantly shocked to see there are a few comments below that suggest her role is Oscar worthy, but really. her performance is that good. And who doesn't like two hours with Mr. McDreamy?!
