As I looking over Mr. Altman's credits, I remembered watching this TV special. I think it was on Bravo Channel. And it focused on the movie he had just finished: the brilliant "Gosford Park", which should have won him the best Oscar for director that year. (Didn't he lose out to Ron Howard?)
Glenn Close, Lily Tomlin, Helen Mirren and other amazing actors were able to talk about working with the master filmmaker on many of his best films. The TV special dove into Mr. Altman's world, like I've never quite seen before. Does anyone know if this special is coming out on video?
