The series follows two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, on their mission to hunt and destroy monsters, ghosts, demons, and a variety of other supernatural beings. As the series has continued, the storylines have become more elaborate and dramatic and the most recent seasons could

Ahead of the season 13 premiere on The CW, Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins are talking about how the long-running drama series should end. Don't panic, Supernatural hasn't been cancelled, and no end date has been announced. Previously, we reported Padalecki, Ackles, and co-showrunner Robert Singer would like to take the TV series to 300 episodes, which would happen midway into season 14. The Supernatural season 12 finale was the 264th episode. From creator Eric Kripke, the Supernatural TV show first premiered on the now defunct network, The WB, on September 13, 2005. Alexander Calvert Confirmed As Series Regular For Supernatural Season 13

9 August 2017 11:03 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Although most of the specifics regarding the upcoming season of Supernatural remain shrouded in mystery, one thing’s for certain: Lucifer’s son, Jack, is someone we’re going to be seeing a whole lot of. In fact, Entertainment Weekly was able to confirm just as much by reporting that Alexander Calvert (Arrow‘s Anarky) will be a series regular.

Truth be told, I’m a little surprised to hear such news, mostly due to the fact that it took fan favorites such as Mark A. Sheppard (Crowley) and Mark Pellegrino (Lucifer himself) years to be granted such a privilege. That aside, this gives us a minor inkling as to how greatly Jack must factor into the producers’ plans over the course of the next year.

Before proceeding any further, let’s take a look at the character description provided for the latest addition to the principal cast:

Arrow Producers Have Already Started Mapping Out Season 7

7 August 2017 9:53 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With roughly two months to go until Arrow and the rest of its DC TV brethren make their return, the hype train continues to pick up momentum. And considering that we’ve already been given a lot to look forward to in season 6 by knowing that there’ll be multiple big bads, Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke will appear in several episodes and that another four-way crossover is slated for this fall, it’s safe to say that the future is indeed looking bright.

Amazingly enough, whatever the producers have planned for the coming year sounds to be so grandiose and epic that it could snowball into the following season. In fact, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said as much when speaking at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour:

“We’ve already started talking about ooh, we have a shape for season seven already. This is the earliest we’ve »

The CW Has No Intention Of Ending Supernatural Anytime Soon

3 August 2017 10:44 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Being someone who’s been a loyal fan of Supernatural since the pilot episode first aired all the way back in fall of 2005, I’m not ashamed to admit that I would have never predicted how long the horror series would endure. Even with creator Eric Kripke bowing out as showrunner after the fifth season, it’s somehow managed to keep us all on the edge of our seats, with season 13 set to commence in a couple of months.

As is the case with any long-running television show, one can’t help but wonder how much longer the party will last. Well, I guess we can put Sam and Dean Winchester in a club also enjoyed by The Simpsons because, much like that fan favorite animated series, there’s seemingly no end in sight when it comes to “saving people, hunting things, the family business.”

Stephen King Movie Adaptations: The Successes and Failures

1 August 2017 5:09 PM, PDT | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

With the upcoming release of The Dark Tower and It: Part 1 - The Loser’s Club, we look back at the successes and failures of previous Stephen King film adaptations.

Stephen King published his first novel in 1974. That novel, Carrie, would go on to sell more than a million copies in its first year of publication. The popularity of this book resulted in a movie adaptation two years later. As Stephen King released more novels, his popularity as an author grew, and many more films, miniseries, TV shows, and graphic novels came to be based on his writings. Today, King is one of the most well known and successful modern writers. Although he has written in many genres (including contributions to comic books), he is best known for his horror writings.

58 films have been released so far that have been based at least in some part on the writings of Stephen King. »

Animated series Stretch Armstrong And The Flex Fighters is due to hit Netflix later this year. Here are the details...

A few years back, Hasbro were hankering for a movie version of Stretch Armstrong to grace the big screen. It was part of a bunch of properties they were developing, along with various board games and toy lines. They even linked Twilight's Taylor Lautner to the lead role, and tapped Breck Eisner to direct. At this point, it looks like that project is a lost cause.
