If you kept up with DC TV happenings over the past year, then it’s hard to imagine that you’d forget the four-way crossover that went down last fall that brought together Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. And while I personally didn’t think it was executed as well as the previous year’s that saw Vandal Savage serve as the primary antagonist, it was pretty difficult not to enjoy seeing the collective heroes occupying the Arrowverse coming together in order to combat the Dominator menace.
Surprisingly, news pertaining to “Invasion!” isn’t entirely behind us as Deluxe’s Encore, the VFX team supervised by Armen Kevorkian, have released a pretty cool video via their YouTube page that gives us insight into the process that brought the action-packed climax to life. Come to think of it, this may be something the producers will want to consider when pondering baddies to include in season 3.
Anyway, with visual effects seamlessly blending with the practical these days, it’s becoming exceedingly difficult to distinguish what’s real and what’s not. Thanks to the video, however, we get to see what was what throughout the course of the episode, thus becoming a real treat to a layman such as myself.

3.23 Finish Line
I think I can safely say that I am satisfied with The Flash season 3 finale, Finish Line. What I didn't expect was just how seriously they were going to take that Finish Line title, and for the second year in a row, they managed to throw fans a serious curve. More than one, as a matter of fact.
I've written so many variations of this over the last handful of reviews that I hesitate to go back into it one more time, but just in case you're new here: I have been completely on board with the second »
