Brilliant, but socially inept, forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperence Brennan works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington DC. After consulting for him on a FBI case, she is approached by cocky yet charming ex-Army Ranger turned Special Agent, Seeley Booth to help the Bureau solve crimes by identifying human remains that are too far gone for standard FBI forensic investigations. Brennan's empirical, literal view of the world causes friction with Booths emotive, instinctive attitude creating a volatile relationship. However as their case load increases the symbiotic partnership produces results and with the support of Brennan's Squint Squad, murderers, past and present should be on the look out. Written by

Did You Know?
Angela Montenegro's middle name is thought to be "Pearly Gates" which is the name of a guitar belonging to ZZ Top
member Billy Gibbons
, who plays Angela's father in some episodes. However, when she marries Hodgins (S5 E20) it is revealed that her legal name is not the name she has been using. She whispers it in to the ear of the judge marrying them but he does not repeat her name. See more
In several episodes in Season 1, the red and blue police lights in the rear of Booth's FBI Tahoe are installed incorrectly so that the lights face the interior of the vehicle. Its best seen in 1.20, when they're driving to the small town. If the lights face the interior of the vehicle, they obviously cannot be seen outside of the vehicle (plus they probably blind the occupants of the vehicle). See more
