Korean drama at its best.... Simply Wow
barman-rinku25 September 2016
I don't know why there are so less review for this series. I Watched this in my Desktop recently and believe me it is one of the best Korean drama. The characters looked so realistic and amazing acting. I completed all the episodes in just three days as I could not wait to watch the next episode when an episode ends. The story is a bit like a "Autumn in my heart" but this is different in its own sense. Some of the episodes are really going to make you cry. If you like Korean drama like Autumn in my heart, I am sorry I love you, than you should definitely watch this. The songs and music are also wonderfully done and you will surely want to hear again after you complete watching the series. I am not going to spoil by discussing the story line. But one should definitely watch this series and believe me you are going to enjoy each and every episodes.

Sad Love Story -- Just like the title says
missyinpink875 June 2005
This was a GREAT drama. It's a sad Korean melodrama and by far, one of the most saddest Korean dramas I've ever seen.

It starts out with Suh Joon-young and Park Hae-in who grow up as childhood friends. Hae-in is blind and Joon-young becomes her protector. As they grow up, their love from childhood grows far beyond into a committed love that will last the rest of their lives. The story revolves around Joon-young, Hae-in, and another character, Lee Gun-woo.

Kwon Sang Woo is one of my favorite Korean actors and I heard about the story from another friend and decided to watch it. Little did I know, I would be bawling from start to finish. It has a typical storyline, like many of the other dramas, but the characters were played really well by Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Hee Sun. I loved every single episode; they were all worth watching. This is by far, my FAVORITE K-drama and one of the saddest ones out there. Overall, it's a great drama and worth watching.

A TRUE SAD LOVE STORY!
maarcoscisterna1 July 2020
I saw this drama in 2005 and it is still a great gem, I do not understand how in South Korea it did not have a great rating if it is one of the most beautiful. I highly recommend it, with this drama that I started in the universe of these, it will make you cry too much, so prepare many handkerchiefs. 100% RECOMMENDED! A TRUE LOVE STORY! It deserves much more recognition, please see it.

Really Sad Man's Story
Park_Min7 February 2024
It wouldn't have been a 2005 melo without some heavy spoilers as the introduction scene. It was meant to be a sad love story but it was more like a really sad man's story. It's expected to see such themes in melodrama but a better balance was needed. It went overboard with how much misery it inflected on the male lead, there were some false hope moments just to double and triple down on his misery afterwards. I liked how they incorporated the friendship into the mix, it helped recovering from the inevitable bad blood. Having 20 episodes runtime turned out to be too long, not enough attention on side characters/plots to keep it rolling. I didn't like what they've done with the character Park Hye In, ended up disliking her the most. Cha Hwa Jung was the one to kick start the snowball effect but the drama didn't do much with her or give her what she deserved. Regarding the ending, I've seen the exact same ending where the male lead took the same decision from another drama but I can't remember the name. Most people would disagree with the ending but it was done like that on purpose just like every heavy melodrama back then.
