Goofs

In the "Memorial" video, The Grand Wizard's real name is listed as Eddie Creachman (1928-1994). While Eddie Creachman was indeed the manager of The Sheik in Detroit for a time, the man who played the Grand Wizard was Ernie Roth (born June 7, 1929, died October 12, 1983). See more »

Quotes

Noah Schiavone: Sabu is one of the craziest wrestlers I've ever seen. I even get worried about him from calling the action all the way back here.
Larry Whistler: Schiavone, look at the man. Head to toe, he is covered with a massive scar tissue.
Noah Schiavone: Seems that the more violent the match gets, the more he likes it.
Larry Whistler: He lives for it. Normal is not his middle name.

The 3rd , last & best of the Legends of Wrestling Series by Acclaim
11 August 2006 | by See all my reviews

Being an old school wrestling fan i was looking forward to playing this game when it came out in 2004 only to be left disappointed. There has been no improvement on the gameplay it's still as bad as it was on the previous 2 games in this series, some of the controls are terrible and there's also some bad glitches in this game not to mention the slow loading times as well! However this game does have some good points too there is 73 wrestling legends to choose from, some new matches types and arenas plus a carear mode taking you through the 70s, 80s and 90s. Most of the legends from the previous games are in this one with a few new ones added which are Ultimate Warrior, Sting, DDP, Macho Man Randy Savage, Curt Hennig, Rick Rude and Jake the Snake Roberts.
