As another reviewer states here, there are many missed opportunities with this movie. Unfortunately neither the entertainment value nor the 3-D Effects are of any value. There is some educational stuff going on there (only point where I disagree a bit, with the other reviewer, although, I thought his commentary was very informative nevertheless), but not enough to make this an essential view.
While the map is a neat idea and the strongest 3-D Effect (Camera on Jeep) is kinda neat, the animals themselves never really look good. The information value isn't that great, a book will do and deliver much more. While I haven't watched many 3-D documentaries (3 up to this point), Deep Sea remains the best of them!
