Beautiful Time-Lapse of the Canadian Rockies (Video)

18 November 2014 3:35 PM, PST | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Feel like you need to get up and go? This video might be all the push you need. Photographer Alan Dyer recorded this beautiful time-lapse footage at the Banff, Jasper and Waterton Lakes National Parks in the Canadian Rocky Mountains during the summer of 2014. Though the odd person or two appears in Dyer's shots, he told Storyful that by night, these sites are "quiet and deserted, unlike by day when often hundreds of people throng these viewpoints. Recording with just a Dslr (digital single lens reflex) camera, Dyer called his time in the range "a magical, if at times eerie experience. »

London, April 24: Madonna has been slammed by her fans after she used 'gay' as an insult for leafy vegetable kale in a word association game.

One of the avid equal rights campaigner's fans said that saying kale is 'gay' is meant to convey that she doesn't like it, so it is an insult and everybody is so tired of people using 'gay' in a negative context, the Mirror reported.

Another asserted that the 'Four Minutes' hit maker is as culturally sensitive as a bull in a china shop and puts her foot in her mouth constantly.

Earlier in 2014, the 55-year-old singer had to apologise after calling her son Rocco a 'n***er' on Instagram. (Ani) »

Psg 3-1 Chelsea: Superb Lavezzi The Difference In Paris

3 April 2014 1:26 AM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Thibault Camus/AP/Press Association Images

Ezequiel Lavezzi was the difference in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-final as the Argentine scored one and made one to give his side a slender advantage of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

Lavezzi gave the hosts the lead after just four minutes when he volleyed home after an error from John Terry but Eden Hazard levelled from the penalty spot before half-time. In the second period, an inch-perfect delivery from Lavezzi resulted in David Luiz putting the ball into his own net. Late on, Javier Pastore scored a superb solo effort to extend the Parisian’s advantage.

Chelsea started the game in the worst possible fashion as they fell behind after just four minutes. John Terry, fresh from scoring the decisive own-goal against Crystal Palace at the weekend, saw his weak header picked up by Ezequiel Lavezzi, who volleyed home from 10-yards.

The only goal came on just before the half hour, Oscar bending a free kick from 22 yards out into the far left corner after a foul on Samuel Eto’o by Erik Pieters, as Chelsea beat Stoke by a single goal at Stamford Bridge.

The first half started at a fast tempo, and both sides had a good chance to open the score. The game began to settle as both sides struggled for momentum, but that changed when Oscar showed his dead ball prowess. In the final five minutes of the half the game really opened, Frank Lampard coming so close to tapping »
