When Timmy and Flappy Bob are trying to get the Pixies' attention by giving the kids their fun stuff to do back, Flappy Bob asks Timmy how he is going to accomplish this. Timmy responds with "Internet" (as in, "I got it off the Internet"). This is a running gag in the series that Timmy uses to explain to everyone outside of his Fairy Godparents how he continually comes into possession of fun, weird, or unusual items (that are granted via the wishes he makes with his Fairy Godparents Cosmo & Wanda).

Near the end as Timmy and Flappy Bob are returning the fun items back to the kids, the "fun" item that A.J. receives are his clones. This is a reference to The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour (2004) in which A.J. enters his clones into the Dimmsdale Elementary School Science Fair as his project.

All of the lyrics to all eleven of the songs were composed by series creator Butch Hartman. During pre-production it was considered that Ben Stein might actually perform part of the "Pixies Rap" song himself, but Stein declined and provided just the Pixie voices instead.

For one scene during The Pixie Rap, Sanderson the Pixie can be seen with a plaster on his face. This is a reference to the rapper Nelly who always appeared with a plaster on his face.

When Happy Peppy Betty and Gary start to sing "I'm Happy Peppy..." then Flappy Bob shouts "Not now!" this is a reference to their countless musical numbers in their episodes "Totally Spaced Out" and "Baby Face".
