Finally, a gay Blind Date. What took so long? | Rebecca Nicholson

While other programmes such as First Dates and Naked Attraction have a casual approach to sexuality, the revamped revival is at last to have its first Lgbt show

Blind Date has been revamped for its Channel 5 revival, earning itself a new set which resembles a cross between a fidget spinner and the inside of an engine. Paul O’Grady has stepped into the hosting shoes of his good friend Cilla Black, and he has an affable way with the contestants, chatting to them about their lack of romantic success with the wonder and bewilderment of a meddling old auntie who cannot fathom dating apps.

Bring Back Fun House

Fun House mega-fan Glen Middleham and a group of his friends and colleagues need your help to launch a live event version of the classic TV show in London. They have been working with the original Fun House creative team to design a truly authentic experience, planned to include many of the games you used to adore as a child. In teams of 6 Reds vs 6 Yellows, you’ll be able to play wacky games, race the Fun Karts, tackle the vast ball pool and take on the gigantic Fun House itself in an experience which is planned to last 1h 45mins. »

Indiegogo campaign to bring back Fun House

13 June 2017 5:05 AM, PDT | The Cultural Post | See recent The Cultural Post news »

One of the best kids tv shows of the 90s is hoping to make a return as a live action event in London for adults. Mega-fan Glen Middleham and a group of friends and colleagues are hoping to raise enough money to create an authentic experience including many of the games featured in the show.

With help from the original Fun House creative team and legend Pat Sharp supporting the idea, this certainly has the potential to find success much like the Crystal Maze live experience. Teams of 6 reds vs 6 yellows will play wacky games, race the Fun Karts and tackle the ball pool, planned to last 1 hour 45 mins. Alongside Pat, twins Melanie and Martina will be on board.

The Indiegogo campaign is the only place to get tickets. Early supporters can get a 60% discount with 2000 tickets priced at only £25. Pledges of a minimum of £10 will get your name personally »
