An outstanding film that creates a new Genre of its own
22 April 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This film has everything you want in an old, black and white silent film. The cinematography is incredible and the visuals are sure to make any DP question themselves. Dennis Wayne creates a character all of his own which will leave you wanting more. The story is unique and well told through the film. The locations give out an eerie feeling which fits the film. I never liked silent films from the past until I saw this film. I would imagine the this was made on a reasonable budget but you never know now-a-days. How about the music? You used the Kronos Quartet for the most part. What an incredible decision. The whole time you hear the music, especially when there's no dialog, you (the viewer) feels like you're apart of the film, experiencing what the lead character experiences. i would love to meet the person who got the rights for you to use it. He/she seems to know what they're doing and must have great connections. Great job and hope to see more of this genre soon.
