Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

One character is a robot from the future who randomly humps things, such as part of an exercise machine and a shake.

In one scene, two people are about to have sex. The woman chains the man to the bed. They don't go any further.

There are references to topics such as porn ("Who's gonna look after Carl's collection of porn?"), masturbation ("You'll probably go home and masturbate") and genitals ("It lets the air circulate around my genitals and wipes the sweat of my balls").

Frylock is actually a transvestite. After the credits he is shown as a woman, asking the robot of Christmas future if he is coming to bed.

Despite the R-rating, the movie doesn't really have much cruder content than the show.

Violence & Gore

Although some characters suffer painful injuries, they rarely show any signs of pain or being hurt. They usually continue what they were doing, or just laugh it off.

The opening sequence includes decapitated bodies being thrown into a meat grinder.

A man turns himself inside-out while laughing. Muscles and blood can be seen.

A cat explodes (shown for about a second).

A man is shot with a tranquilizer dart (no blood or gore).

Meatwad is shot. No blood, but bits of meatball fly out.

A man rips out a small part of his brain and puts it into Frylock to bring him to life.

Carl is seen with no skin or muscles, just his bones and some guts along with his head. He has a lollypop and seems perfectly happy.

A man on TV is shot by a robot.

A man is poisoned, then disintegrates.

A man is cut in half, but is still alive. He continues talking and seems perfectly happy.

Shake's hand is cut off. He laughs it off.

Shake is hit by a car. Later, he is missing teeth.

Profanity

"Fuck" is said 15 times, including a few uses of "motherfucker".

"Shit" is said 7 times.

"Fag" is said once.

"Jag-off" is said once.

"Damn" is said 13 times, including 3 uses of "goddamn".

"Anus" is said 3 times.

"Masturbate" is said once.

"Bitch" is said 3 times.

"Bastard" is said once.

"Freaking" is said 3 times,

"Ass" is said 7 times.

"Hell" is said 7 times.

Some sexual language is used, including "boobmeat," "balls," "genitals", and "vagina."

One use of the middle finger.

Two characters make a brief, mild reference to being high.

Some people may be offended by the opening sequence, which is basically a group of animated, living food items such as a pretzel and a crisp play a metal song about watching the film in the cinema. The lyrics in this song are potentially offensive to sensitive viewers. It says things such as;

"If you bring a baby, leave it on the street outside, they don't watch films anyway....and run it over on the way back".

"Satan will rain acid down your throat and dissolve your genitals".

"If I find you've sold this film on Ebay, I will come to your house and tear your wife in half".

Sensitive viewers may not like the violence which is usually bloody and on one or two occasions, shows human organs and guts.
