Prison Break Season 5 Episode 4 Review: The Prisoner's Dilemma

7 hours ago | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Whoever told Michael that his latest prison break was going to be smooth sailing, should probably refrain from giving advice ever again.

Things took an interesting turn on Prison Break Season 5 Episode 4, with the characters being sent off in exciting directions as we approach the halfway point of this limited-run revival.

Tensions in Ogygia were at an all-time high, with Michael and his group trapped in separate cells, vying for a way out of what was soon to become a pile of rubble.

The good thing about Michael is that he has a plan for just about anything. Even with his back against the wall, he can effortlessly sway people into his line of thinking.

That's what he did with Ramal, who was ready to cut his losses with everyone and re-join his band of crooks in Isil. Sana falling has been hinted at all season long, so it was »

Exclusive: 'Prison Break' Creator on Shocking Poseidon Twist: 'All Roads Point to [Spoiler]'

7 hours ago | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched Tuesday’s episode of Prison Break.

Did we just find out Poseidon’s identity?

At the end of Tuesday’s episode of Prison Break, titled “The Prisoner’s Dilemma,” the mysterious figurehead -- only known as “a rogue CIA operative” -- was possibly revealed to be Sara’s husband, Jacob Ness (Mark Feuerstein), as he was spotted by T-Bag (Robert Knepper) talking to two henchmen, A&W (Marina Benedict) and Van Gogh (Steve Mouzakis). But, is Jacob really Poseidon?

“There are definitely a number of more moves to that story,” creator Paul T. Scheuring exclusively tells Et. “The idea is to say, ‘Boy, that sure looks like it’s Jacob. Jacob sure looks like [he’s] Poseidon.’ All roads point to him at that point, but like I said, that is not the final understanding of Poseidon or Jacob.”

This Tuesday on Prison Break (Fox, 9/8c), two different kinds of longtime adversaries come face to face, when Kellerman receives a visit from T-Bag.

And while it’s tempting to call it a reunion , Paul Adelstein is quick to note that although Kellerman had his fingers in many a pie back in the day, the two characters never really shared a proper scene during the original series’ run.

“At the end of Season 4, the Scylla storyline, [Robert] Knepper and I talked about how we had never exchanged words on the show — and yet we always longed for it,” Adelstein tells TVLine. »

Why Fox Reviving ‘The X-Files’ Has Us Concerned — Very Good Television Podcast

Even before Fox officially announced the latest return of one-time flagship series “The X-Files,” we were wondering how Season 11 might be different from the season that came before: How many episodes? How many would be written and directed by Chris Carter? How many new writers would come on board?

We now know that the next season will consist of 10 episodes, and that production theoretically begins this summer for the 2017-2018 season. But beyond that, there are still plenty of mysteries left unsolved — especially given that showrunner Chris Carter has a questionable track record with the series when he takes a more hands-on approach creatively (after all, he was the one behind the ending of last season).

Prison Break: The Escape Is...Off?

Prison Break returned with its third episode of Season 5.  While viewers received some answers to the last couple episodes, more questions now arise due to a failed escape plan.  We did find out that Michael was indeed sent to Yemen in order to break out Abu Ramal, per orders from the Us Government.  Michael also stated that it had to do with their, "twisted foreign policy." Even though we do not know exactly why the government sent him, we can assume that they want the Isil leader under their control, and they knew Scofield would be their best option in breaking him out.  We are lead to believe that Kellerman is once again pulling the strings.  Even learning the little information we did this week, larger questions still loom:
