Max Baissette de Malglaive,
Paris, 1977. Eleven year old Stella knows poker better than grammar when she starts the year at a prestigious new school. There, she discovers the possibilities of a whole new world outside her parents' bar.
It was on the television on the evening of 14 Juillet, preceding the "Trois coloure:Bleu". Yes, it is the same plot like the "Reality Bites" from 1994, but who cares? Fresh characters, Europe of 2006, trendy cars and clothes, even the bars up-to-dated, but again and again that strong conviction that one has to share all this misery we call "life". Circle of friends with different types of people, the tries we also tried once, a story which is rather ordinary, but we can watch it with interest all the time. It's life saving if you have friends, but it is much better you find somebody to love. In spite of all suggestions of consuming and enjoying the very same day the human animal wants to leave a trace on the face of the earth: to have a child even then he/she is not a genius just a car/shoe seller. Like you and me.
