Own the rights?
I saw this film last night and was truly moved. The lead, Sarah Lewis, is a great actress and her performance as Sam was very compelling. I could feel her fear and her desire to grow and stretch her boundaries. Darren Robertson as her romantic interest Ronnie brought out his own compulsions, self-hatred, fear of intimacy, and longing to connect. I absolutely loved the scenes when they were together.The narrative was well drawn and paced. The director Chris King did a great job with the writing and directing. The editing with the flash backs worked very well in filling out the characters and allowing us a better perspective of their motivation. I hope it gets picked up for distribution.
