The tracking shot through the cabin, that leads to the window and finally to the moon mirrors the final shot in Salem's Lot. Also, the rules regarding how holy objects like crosses and priests hurt vampires are the same as in Salem's lot.

The glowing red eyes in the dark and the super vampire are both homages to this film. Also, Annika is strangeled by the head vampire, she cuts his throat causing him to fall backward, mirroring the exact same series of events in Dracula

The scene were Saga is in the bathroom and hears cries of terror outside and beats on the doors that goes silent, and when she walks out she finds the room in ruins and blood all over th place mirrors a simular scene in In the Mouth of Madness
