Own the rights?
Among all this anime and other pointless Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents teeny bopper crap, this one gives hope to Saturday Morning Cartoons. Now I'm a fan of the original Fox Kids Line up (Eek! the Cat, Sam & Max, The Tick, X-Men etc.) but this could be waking me up early (well 10:30 at least). Here's the deal. Johnny's a kid with a talking dog and two brainy sisters. In return for testing things his sisters create in a lab (which backfire horribly) he gets powers, gadgets and everything a kid would want (which also backfire horribly). Now most people think it's a rip-off of Nickelodeon's Fairly Odd Parents. My response? Bull. Fairly Odd Parents is just a bunch of sexual innuendos covered by the word Internet (which is repeated over and over again). The only fault in Johnny Test? Well, speaking justly, it's just a little too fast. Episodes will end before you know it. Johnny Test brings back the classic kids cartoon formula with some new age humor. All in all a 9/10
