Rise of the Undead is an oddity. It looks and sounds like a z-grade movie. It was filmed (if that's the right word) on a video camera, and the sound sometimes barely audible. The effects were cheap, but sometimes effective.
I have to admit I almost fell asleep in the beginning section of the movie. So I guess that would be a pacing problem. The acting is not always awful, some of the cast actually acquits themselves well. For all it's flaws, and there are many, something oddly's endearing about this movie, It's odd ball, awkward sense of humor.
It's not exactly Mony Python, and it's certainly not serious piece of film-making. But it's worth a peek.
