The hospital seen in this film (main setting of the film) was filmed at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. This was also the same place where they filmed the interiors of Smith's Grove Sanitarium in the P-Cut of Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers. See more »
After the scene where Alison comes up from the corpse tank, she is all wet. Also, she steps on glass, which obviously hurts a lot. A couple of moments later, she runs through the corridor, no blood under her feet and with dry clothes (except from a few dashes on her legs). See more »
This movie was wonderful; I really really enjoyed it. At first I thought it was moving a little slow, but they were just setting up for everything that comes together in the very end. First of all, when I heard they were using REAL cadavers for this, I knew I had to catch it. And sure enough, watching them lying there on the table was totally creepy. As if hospitals aren't strange enough by themselves, these eerie occurrences make it all so much more bizarre and somewhat frightening. The lead girl does a wonderful job of playing someone haunted by the spirit of the cadaver she is dissecting and learning from. I don't want to say much about the haunting spirit other than that it is definitely worth waiting until the end to see how it all works out. It's psychological, it's bloody, it gave me the creeps and grossed me out, and I definitely think you should see it.
