A woman is in the middle of a emotionally wrenching session with her psychoanalyst (an older woman) when the analyst suddenly changes her technique and instead of just listening to the woman free associate begins being more directive. In fact, the analyst begins suggesting that the woman make some alterations to her wardrobe and her hair style. This triggers a change in their relationship that leads to the woman discovering a lot more about her analyst than she ever thought she would. These revelations help the woman break out of her self-obsessed shell and begin real healing. The last few minutes of the film reveal why the analyst was taking such a personal interest in her patient.A delightful and warm-hearted little film that covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time.
