First of all...... I have a crush on Archer.
Hey, what can I say? I really like cats! And he is a cat-man. An intelligent, sensitive one. Those are difficult to find in American film. Usually manimals are shown as violent and stupid (think about how werewolves are usually portrayed). I think this film works on a number of different levels, like Donnie Darko. There is the pure entertainment value, and under that is a sharp critique of violent action and prejudice as well as the ineffectiveness of war in problem-solving. Plus, as an Anti-Barbie woman myself, I must admit to grinning wickedly at the Gwendy Dolls and their eventual fate. Mwahahahahahaha!
