British actress Naomie Harris has been nominated for an Oscar for her role as a crack-addicted mother in the 2016 indie drama Moonlight. "No Small Parts" takes a look at some other roles she's played in her career.
I'm a big horror film fan, and Eyes of the Chameleon definitely delivers to fans of the genre. I caught myself laughing out loud at lots of one-liners, as well as some of the darker, satirical stuff in the story.
The opening scene sets the film up for success, presenting an extremely twisted and uncomfortable portrait of the American family. The film is littered with social commentary. However, Ron Atkins and his crew still manage to deliver all the gore and nudity in a B-horror film with a wink and a nudge.
It's clear the film had a relatively low budget, but it does a good job sticking to the genre and the Troma Films name. I heard it's coming out on DVD within the next week or two...I'm thinking about picking it up.
