Quite funny at places, 1 March 2009
Author: silvan-desouza from India

Anees Bazmee turned to comedies with this film and got a blockbuster followed by crass WELCOME and SIK which too became blockbusters though SANDWICH started before but released later-on and flopped

The film has a cheesy plot and many subplots but thankfully the reasons for Anil committing an affair are well handled are believable The film is too long and gets boring especially in first half

The entire Fardeen- Celina track is the worst part, it sucks especially in first half, the scene before ISHQ MEIN is so horrible i wish it was cut off

The Salman- Esha track is okay, Anil's scenes with Bipasha and Lara are damn funny

Second half gets better with many funny scenes but the film gets too long and towards the end the moralistic angle of Bipasha pulls the film down

The last cliff part is quite funny but is too long

Anees Bazmee handles many scenes well but at times bad too Music is ordinary

Anil Kapoor steals the show with his funniest performance, his performance though slapstick yet works cos he makes it look believable Salman Khan does his now by famous attitude and fake style and is nothing great Fardeen Khan gets better in second half and is good at parts Lara Dutta annoys, Esha is okay and Celina is nothing great Bipasha is alright
