This documentary interviews a number of Central Americans, who tell their stories of their first hand journeys through Mexico's "Vertical Border" to get to the United States. The four thousand kilometers that the migrants must travel through Mexico is where they risk their money, lives, and health in order to reach the United States. These are sad tales from those at the bottom of globalism's human barrel; these migrants have truly been reduced to "de nadie," "no one." Written by RLH

A side of immigration most Americans don't know exists
12 March 2007 | by (Los Angeles, CA) – See all my reviews

Being the girlfriend of an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, it was incredible to see the plight of Central Americans making their way through Mexico themselves. I was unaware of this situation and feel completely enlightened by this moving documentary. Words cannot express the depth of human emotion I feel at this moment. I do what I can to help my boyfriend but I never truly realized just how deep of a sacrifice these immigrants make in an effort to better the lives of their families... Even now I can't my words fail me... Absolutely incredible.. My ancestors arrived from England in 1682 and it wasn't easy for them then.. its understandable that the situation would not have changed. Perhaps this is what life is truly about.. the betterment of ones self and the lives of their family.. these people just have the courage to go out and get it.
