On the DVD release of the PPV, Sandman's entrance music, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, was fuzzed out. This scrapped much of Mick Foley and Joey Styles' comments during Sandman's entrance. However, if you listen closely during Mick Foley's original commentary on the DVD, you can hear some parts of "Enter Sandman" playing.
Counting the pre-show dark match at Barely Legal, there are only six wrestlers who competed at both ECW Barely Legal and ECW One Night Stand 2005. They are Little Guido Maritato, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Lance Storm, Sabu and the Sandman.
Dawn Marie Psaltis was a few months pregnant in real life at the time of this show. Because of this, her involvement in the Lance Storm-Chris Jericho match was limited to redirecting the referee's attention so he wouldn't see Justin Credible hitting Jericho in the head with a Singapore cane. While ECW generally avoided rules, meaning there were very few ways to get disqualified, and that wasn't one of them, there was nothing else she could have done during the match.
