Parrott is seeking a job and he finds that his ability has specially fitted him to be a hotel clerk. When the opportunity presents itself, he takes the job which not only makes him clerk, but bellhop, assistant to the manager, and a few additional things in the hotel line. His attempts to perform his various duties lead to many humorous situations, which incidentally nearly wreck the hotel. But, good fortune smiles on him at last and he is retained by the proprietor as a very able assistant.
