The explosion scene was very realistic
deickemeyer20 October 2017
A strong two-reel story, centering about a soldier who could not overcome his love for drink. Drink and a Mexican woman lead him into disgrace and he resigns from the service. Ten years later he returns to the post, old and broken, to find his daughter in danger from both Indians and Mexicans. The old man sets a bomb in the cellar of the hotel, rescues his daughter, and then goes back to die with the others. The explosion scene was very realistic. - The Moving Picture World, August 16, 1913
