The actress fell in love with the stage when she was learning how to act, but has never had the opportunity to try her hand at theatre professionally.

Hudson is now keen to make her live debut, and used her recent trip to tt0449061 autoLondon[/link] to promote new movie nm2704610 autoFool's Gold[/link] to tout her talents.

She says, "I've thought about that. I have plans to do theatre eventually.

"Growing up, when I started being interested in acting I was always on a stage. I definitely would (love the chance), absolutely.

"It would be nice to do something original, like an original play."

Hudson, a single mum, insists the timing would have to be perfect: "It all comes down to timing and my son and (ex-husband) Chris (Robinson) and scheduling but it would be brilliant."

Kate Hudson has revealed that her eye colour is often changed in photographs.

The actress said she had been in countless magazines where her appearance was modified.

Speaking at the European premiere of new film Fool's Gold in London, she said: "I just tend to let those things go. I can't tell you how many covers of magazines I've been on . . .

Jessica Biel and Chris Evans have called it quits after dating for more than two years, according to media reports in the US. Biel, who starred in Stealth and the TV family drama 7th Heaven, also played Evans' girlfriend in two films, Cellular and London. Evans, who starred in Fantastic Four, is currently filming The Nanny Diaries with Scarlett Johansson. A source tells the US edition of OK! magazine that Evans has recently been spotted out in New York City with brunette public relations executive Joyce Sevilla. Meanwhile 24-year-old Biel has been in Los Angeles filming Next with Nicolas Cage.

Revolution pic 'Next' in line for Biel
Jessica Biel has signed on to co-star in Lee Tamahori's sci-fi thriller Next for Revolution Studios. Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore are toplining the film, which is based on Philip K. Dick's short story The Golden Man. Penned by Gary Goldman, the story centers on a man (Cage) with the unique ability to see future events and affect their outcome. Pursued by the FBI, which is seeking to use his abilities to prevent a global terrorist attack, he ultimately is faced with the choice of saving himself or the world. Biel will play Liz, the love interest of Cage's character, whom he must attempt to save from terrorists. Cage, Todd Garner, Norm Golightly, Graham King and Arne Schmidt are producing. Derek Dauchy is overseeing for Revolution, which has set a late March start date for the film. Biel, whose credits include London, Blade: Trinity and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, next appears in Neil Burger's The Illusionist. She is repped by CAA, Management 360 and attorney Karl Austen.
