Trivia

The name of the store "Droids-B-Us" is a parody on the toy store chain "Toys 'R' Us". It was first named "Droids-R-Us", but "Toys 'R' Us" sued Sierra for its use of the similar name without permission. Thus the name of the store was changed to "Droids-B-Us". See more »

Classic!
9 April 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Classic is the correct word for this PC game of yesterday. I remember spending hours as a teenager trying to figure out the next puzzle typing away various phrases hoping to get the right one, and come away with supreme satisfaction for moving from one puzzle to the next. With so many reference to famous movies like Star Wars and others, who can forget the built-in humors and parodies that got us giggling throughout the night? Gone are those days where games of today are replaced with flashy graphics and repetitive hack and slash where people are more and more accustomed to using visual acuity over their imagination. Games like these allowed us to use actually use our brains and still be amused with the subtle jokes and humors, and the sense of epic accomplishment at the end of the game.
