References

Robin Hood Daffy (1958) (Short)
As Puss is chasing Kitty after she broke up his first attempt to get the beans, there is a shot where Puss takes a rope and swings into the wall. It is reminicent of several old Warner Brothers cartoons. The most notable of these is "Robin Hood Daffy" where Daffy Duck plays Robin Hood and in Errol Flynn style swings into rocks and trees while trying to rob a traveller.
Desperado (1995)
Puss' use of a guitar as a weapon is reminiscent of his Marachi character.
South Park (1997) (TV Series)
Humpty tightens his parka and starts mumbling to himself, looking and sounding like Kenny in the process
Fight Club (1999)
Humpty talks about Bean Club being kept secret and to not talk about Bean Club to anyone.
