R2 is an honest police inspector very cumbersome. He is not TORRENTE (he is honest); just a guy willing to do his job but without enough brains to achieve anything. He becomes involved with a rich investor whose wife has been threatened by kidnappers.
Everything is more than obvious here and the resolution is plainly stupid.
The movie is not funny but somehow the protagonist are sympathetic enough to let you reach the end; so is the music.
If you are looking for fun, look for TORRENTE I,II or III. If you want something serious look go for DIRTY HARRY or something like that; but this one only if you have really nothing better to do.
