Vampire teens dream drains her family-a dream they can sink their teeth in!
grapevine9331 October 2005
Frankie & Annette from my youth back on the beach- but "vamped". Fun,clever, brought smiles to the group I was with, still just enough eerie to create tension and draw gasps! It seems even in the world of vampires, teens have issues. You would think a Dad whose bite is clearly worse than his bark would reign with more authority. Not so! Our teeny vamp is prepared to douse herself with max sunscreen in a "death defying" stunt to be with her beloved surfer, only to grudgingly realize her father is right- she cannot enter the world of sunshine days to be with the fellow of her dreams. Her near sneer at her family's "gift" offer to cheer her, broadens the plot in a trip to the cemetery. This short is well cast with the camera and effects finding hungry, determined but nonetheless empathetic family-engaged vampires-- a real twist on the usual and predictable!!! Seeking more films from the creative creators of this GEM!

Fun, Very well done short, on a very small budget.
carlwiesinger26 February 2005
The creators of this fresh, fun, short film, have managed to make an excellent little film. Though only seven minutes, it showcases a lot of very good aspiring talent. It will leave you laughing, and wanting to see a much longer version. From an imaginary movie title mentioned in a 60's dark comedy film ("Lord Love A Duck"), Devi Snively decided that this silly made-up movie title should actually be made. So it has a silly 60's off-the-wall, comedy/horror/musical/beach kind of flavor to it. It may be short, but begs to be a feature length film. The exceptional talents of Devi Snively, and Agustin Fuentes, that are Deviant Pictures, are certainly on there way to bigger things. Keep on eye on them. I'm willing to bet that they have a lot more great ideas. Much bigger than their current budget restrictions.
