This is a very odd film that reportedly was made in 48 hours for some
contest to see what young film makers could do given this time limit.
Given this serious limitation, the end result is quite good--though it
isn't a type film I particularly enjoyed.
The film consists of a young couple arguing constantly while on their
way to a party. Both are very savage in their biting remarks. However,
and this makes this film an interesting example of absurdism, when they
get out to look in the trunk there is a body there. Instead of
commenting on the dead person, they argue that they should have gotten
a bigger car with a bigger trunk--and just continue arguing and never
discussing the body! This is very odd and meant to shock. This black
comedy didn't do a lot for me but I have got to respect that they did
this so quickly.
By the way, you may be turned off my how savagely they argue as well as
their very colorful language. Just keep this in mind.

Holy cow! This short film, part of the 48 hour film challenge, is
absolutely amazing! The acting talents of Caroline Whiteway and Tom
Wotner are second to none. I think these two young talents are ones to
watch. Caroline Whiteway is absolutely brilliant in this film. She
deserves a frigging Oscar. I think that this film displays the quality
and content that most short films should display and should have been
premiered at the Canne Film Festival. In viewing this film, I realised
the shear importance of having great quality female actors in lead
roles. It is of the utmost importance to display young, relatively
unknown talent in such endeavours. I was intrinsically impressed with
this film. Well done to the actors and film makers.
