I was able to catch a sneak preview of this movie before it played at the Cinequest film festival in San Jose.

Sunnyvale is a very funny film about a lifelong loser, who suddenly finds himself dating 3 different women. Each of the women have interesting stories and have all somehow met up with this guy who doesn't leave his apartment and eats more food than a herd of water bison.

Great comedy and great character interaction make this movie memorable and very enjoyable.

Three thumbs UP!!! Third thumb is for the ladies.

I saw Sunnyvale at the Kansas Film Festival on 9/13/05. This ultra-low budget comedy by Writer-director James Ricardo is one of the funniest films I have every seen. The basic premise is an unemployed, porn-addicted, food-obsessed loser has a very hot chick show up at his door to drop off some pot. Naturally she went to the wrong address but she keeps coming back because; well he is such a loser, knows it and accepts it. He just wants to be left alone (remember the porn?) but all throughout history girls like her have guys like him doing pretty much whatever she wants. She decides to "improve" him and try to get him a girlfriend from "Lowered Expectations" on the internet. My favorite was the Dog Lady. Her dog ran away which was such a shame after all the time she spent training him (if you know what I mean...). OK well eventually he is sleeping with three women and he can't figure out why. But as the Pot lady says, "You have no idea how low the standards are for girls out there". 'Enuf said; point taken. The writing is viciously funny. The babes are EXTREMELY hot. And the whole film is seriously twisted. I laughed my ass off. And yes I always suspected that more Republicians than Democrats are swingers.

Saw this ultra weird little indie comedy recently and liked it a lot. The movie's plot is about an adult movie watching, food addicted loner and the three hot babes he ends up banging.

It has many funny scenes and one liners, the cast is good, the production values are well done, and the story has some cool twists and turns. Sunnyvale is edgy, dangerous comedy and not for the faint of heart, the easily offended should stay far, far away, the rest of us will be laughing our friggin' balls off.

Overall an imperfect but still quite good (albeit rather strange) indie comedy. If you like off the wall comedies, this flick is for you. There's truly something to offend everyone in it.

Very funny movie and Ute Werner is so hot !!!, 16 September 2005

I finally saw this movie. I wanted to see it so bad because of one of the actress who play in the movie, Ute Werner(bloodrayne official model). I became a fan of her the first minute i saw her as bloodrayne so i really wanted to see her in a movie. So here my opinion on the movie.

This is my first Indy movie if i can say, i watch a lot of Hollywood movie , I'm a movie addicted guy, but never saw before this kind of movie. It have a very different style, for example near all the movie is done in the apartment of the main character. It look like a movie that some university student could shoot. But what make it unique, its the dialog and plot. I really had fun watching it. Sure its not American Pie, you would not watch it 30 time, but it really deserve to be watch, its a very cool movie without any pretension and you pass a great moment.

So I'm very glad to be able to saw it, and i really hope to see more movie from Ute, she is the most beautiful women i ever see, and she is a great actress.

If you can manage to see it in a festival etc, do it, it really deserve to be seen.

I was fortunate enough to catch a sneak preview screening of this film recently and really dug it! It's a great, edgy, quirky little comedy that reminds me a lot of the films of Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith and just a hint of Stanley Kubrick.

I fell head over heels with the film's three leading ladies, April Wade, Ute Werner, and Jesselynn Desmond. Miss Wade was my fave of the bunch though.

The flick is the simple story of a loser who ends up dating and mating with three chicas at once. It takes place mainly in a cool Los Angeles art deco loft. It's a simple premise that takes flight thanks to a helluva lot of killer comedy. Check out Sunnyvale! Great movie, baby!
