Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

There are references to Scott's roommate being gay. There is a brief seconds-long scene where the roommate is making out with another man.

Scott is seen in a bed with a few other men, but nothing sexual is implied; rather that they are merely sharing the only bed in the entire apartment.

Scott punches someone in the boob.

Scott covers his eyes and opens them to find his girlfriend right by him in her underwear. She takes him to the bed and gets on top of him to kiss him.

Scott's girlfriend refers to a time when she was "bi-curious."

Scott's Band is named Sex-Bob-omb. (A reference to the Bob-ombs in Nintendo's Mario Bros and the Tom Jones song).

Several characters are involved in a love triangle.

All the violence in the film is intentionally comic and not intense.

Stylized, hyper-kinetic action. When people are defeated, there is no blood, since they become coins. All fights are comic, with words like "THUD" or "KPOW" when someone hits a wall, etc.

Scott is stabbed and killed (not violent at all), but a video game 1-UP brings him back to life

In one instance, Scott is very briefly seen slicing off a man's leg with a sword (It explodes into coins, followed by the man a second later).

Scott slashes an evil ex across the face, leaving a small cut.

A man flings a young man towards a tower, and the young man smacks the wall, falls through scaffolding, and finally lands on the ground. He defies physics by not being injured at all.

Another man flings the same young man up in the air, then the young man lands on a pile of garbage. Again, no injuries.

A teen girls battles with swords. She doesn't injure anyone with them.

A teen and a young man play a Ninja Dance-Revolution type arcade machine. A very brief image of a ninja kicking off another ninja's head, with some blood and gore, is flashed. "Blink and you will miss it" moment.

Some slapping between characters and mild arguing. A few characters can look menacing.

20 uses of ass,10 bleeped out f-words, 6 uses of hell,6 uses of bitch, 5 uses of damn, 4 uses of shit, 1 use of god-damn, 1 use of dick, 1 use of cock, 1 use of a-hole,1 use of effed.

Scott says he doesn't drink.

Scott says dating Ramona is like doing drugs. He then says he doesn''t do drugs, unless she does drugs, and if she does, he does drugs.

Scott orders two Gin and Tonics and drinks one of them.

Other people also drink alcohol occasionally in the background.

Some mildly intense scenes.

A few death scenes, but these contain no violence and enemies turn into coins when beaten like a video game.

One scene involves a demonic and ghost like copy of Scott that he then must "fight" The scene ends abruptly and is quite comical, although the look of Nega Scott may frighten younger children.

MPAA/USA - Rated PG-13 for stylized violence, sexual content, language and drug references.

BBFC/UK - Rated 12A (moderate violence, sex references, bleeped strong language).
