Two bumbling burglars, out to crack a safe, stumble across a bad movie in the making, which has all the earmarks of being a "Saw" clone, and due to a plot twist, they end up as prisoners. Sound scary to you? Uh, well, hang on a moment. Among the characters (besides the burglars) are a man and his sister and his girlfriend plus one nut-case, only the burglars don't know who is who, otherwise they'd have never ended up as prisoners. There's plenty of "Saw"-like goings on, torture, etc, there's some drugging going on and lots of morphine apparently in use, there's even a scene where one guy is hallucinating that he's eating someone, etc. Then, during a really nasty scene where there's plenty of blood and torture & suspense built up, a doorbell rings? A DOORBELL? Yep, it's security, come to see if everything's OK. Is this sh** for REAL? Is that the best the writers could DO? The doorbell would only be forgivable if this was meant to be a comedy but after quite a bit of thought, I decided that it probably wasn't supposed to be. You can go about your life without ever seeing this movie and be just fine, I only wish I'd have spent the time (not to mention the money) on something else...I can always get more money but I can't get more time. 2 out of 10.
