The Friday/Sunday Night Project
27 April 2005 | by See all my reviews

This is one of the best shows to watch on a Friday night. The first series had the brilliant Jimmy Carr, the great Rob Rouse, the okay Sharon Horgan and Lucy Montgomery with "celebrity spotting". The last few series though has seen the brilliant Justin Lee Collins and the great Alan Carr, and for a while Debra Stephenson, a brief Celebrity Big Brother's Chantelle "celebrity spotting" and getting the word from the public. Every week they do the same similar things, a day out with the guest, a spoof news show, a quick quiz with all questions being about the host, a public stitch up, the audience asking anything they want, and a final game to win some prizes for an audience member, the only change is the guest host. Guest hosts have included: Vinnie Jones, Neil Morrissey, Kelly Osbourne, Jordan (Katie Price) (twice), Brigette Neilson, Eamonn Holmes, Boy George, Billie Piper, Lorraine Kelly, Christian Slater, Denise Van Outen, Michael Barrymore, Jamie Oliver (twice), Jessie Wallace, Tricia Goddard, Jerry Springer, Patsy Kensit, Rob Lowe, Mischa Barton, Ian Wright, Jade Goody, Justin Hawkins, Rupert Everett (twice), Carol Vorderman, Ross Kemp, Girls Aloud, David Tennant (twice), Tamzin Outhwaite, James Nesbitt, Noel Edmonds, Steven Seagal, Ashley Jensen, David Walliams, Chris Moyles, Sharon Osbourne, Melanie C, Lily Allen (twice), Paula Abdul, Beth Ditto, John Barrowman, Joanna Lumley, David Gest, Kanye West, Kim Cattrall, Cilla Black, Elle MacPherson, Mariah Carey, Elijah Wood, Geri Halliwell, Gok Wan, Peter Andre, Pamela Anderson, Mark Ronson, Boyzone, David Hasselhoff, Barbara Windsor, Will Young, Sir Tom Jones, Simon Pegg, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, James Corden, Catherine Tate, Anne Robinson, Martin Sheen, Big Brother house-mates and many more.
