Absolutlely amazing!
10 October 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Absolutely outstanding.

To the producers, directors and writers; As a former fire captain and ALS responder (now retired) from the LA area, I appreciate the no doubt exhausting efforts and work by all in presenting this true depiction of life in a trauma center, especially Angels. (Queen of Angels) So kudos and endless thumbs up for a job well done.

To the cast and crew; Although I had seen a lot of trauma in my career, I have only experienced what is now referred to as a "Code Black" situation once in my life years ago in a mass trauma involving a tragic tour bus accident and a lot of Triage that exposed me to a number of hours in the ER, and it was nothing short of mind boggling. To see a true trauma ER team come together to get the job done was amazing and life changing and this definitely hits home for so many!

This heart wrenching and emotional show is not only presented in an accurate and real life drama, but gives all viewers an excellent vantage point of how this is seen from inside the box and also provides a glimpse into the warm, compassionate, personal and sometimes rough exteriors of those who live this everyday without compromising their integrity or that of their superiors, piers and those thrown into the fire under their direction.

Please, please continue each and ever chapter of Code Black in this light, don't ever change the writing. Don't ever write or waste precious energy and resources to merge the seedy personal drama as presented in so many other shows including the illicit affairs that rarely happen in this real life setting or at the least you never see them. Writing or presenting this in any other way would be a travesty and would cast a dark cloud over what will no doubt be a smash hit and a long running, Emmy winning series just the way it is.

To all, thank you and keep up the great work!

Sincerely, E.T. Walsh
