Outstanding series

Hosted by Julia Zemiro, a quiz program where the topic is rock music. More than a quiz show: each episode features well known musical guests who perform songs of theirs with the house band and also compete in the show. The quizmaster is Brian Nankervis.

Excellent show. I am a great fan of rock music and this series is a great blend of musical knowledge, testing and informing you, and live music featuring some famous guests.

Julia Zemiro is a fantastic hostess, funny and engaging and Brian Nankervis is a great quizmaster. Hats off too to the house band - Peter Luscombe, Mark Ferrie and James Black - for their musicianship and ability.

Great fun.

The Best Ever Rock and Roll Trivia
reneelbutler13 May 2006
This is the best rock and roll trivia show ever. Set against the well loved Esplinade in Melbourne's St Kilda. Rock brain Brian Nankervis has created an original and engaging show. The orchestra (read rockin' band) seem like magicians as they are able to play an endless variety of music, and match their performance to that of each guest artist. Last but not least is the amazing, the gorgeous, the incredibly talented Julia Zemiro, who makes sure the contestants are well looked after, and gives a bit of (well-deserved) cheek to the guest artists. This is a far better show than Spicks N Specks. It would be great to see them get some more international guests on the show, and maybe invite guests who have already appeared to come back and sing the finale duets with others.

Bored out my brains.

Never has any stars on it. Unless you're Jimmy Barnes, or crowded house, or you're the latest Australian Eurovision contestant, which the host always shoves down your throat. Never saw meatloaf, ac-dc, INXS, Beyonce, Isaac Hayes, prince, etc. The same faces, and bands regularly appear.
