Gifting It is probably the most accurate portrayal of Burning Man I've ever seen on film. Burning Man is tough to put a finger on. I think its something like a cross between a Rorschach inkblot test and a mirror. That is, everyone interprets it differently, and what you think of it and get out of it is more a reflection of you. Having said that, this movie gives the viewer an excellent base to understand what happens out there in the desert. It looks like most of the footage was shot in 2002, yet the basic philosophies and ideals apply to any year. If you have any desire to see a glimpse of what happens there, I highly recommend this film. If you're already a fan of the event, you'll absolutely love this.
