‘Coming Through The Rye’ Trailer: Alex Wolff Searches For J.D. Salinger In Coming-Of-Age Film
“I felt like I was reading about someone who understand me. Not Huck Finn, not Tom Sawyer, but Holden Caulfield,” says Alex Wolff’s character Jamie Schwartz in the new trailer for “Coming Through the Rye.”

Written and directed by James Sadwith, who based the film on his own real life experience with J.D. Salinger, the drama is set in 1969 and follows the 16-year-old outcast who finds solace in “The Catcher In The Rye” and deeply identifies with its protagonist. He decides to adapt the book into a play but before moving forward seeks the approval of the author himself, who is portrayed by Chris Cooper.

Interview: Talking ‘Admission’ with the Cast

Opening in theaters today is the new comedy/drama, Admission, which pairs Tina Fey (“30 Rock,” Baby Mama) and Paul Rudd (This is 40, I Love You, Man) for the first time together on screen. Based on the novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, Admission focuses on Portia Nathan (Tina Fey), a Princeton admissions officer who takes a professional risk after she meets a college bound alternative school kid who just might be the son she gave up years ago in a secret adoption. The film is directed by Paul Weitz (American Pie, About a Boy) and also stars Nat Wolff (The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie) and Lily Tomlin (Nine to Five, I Heart Huckabees).

The Lone Ranger Crew Member Drowns On Set

Update: An unidentified crew member died while filming The Lone Ranger. He was setting up to film an underwater scene; he was not a stuntman. The crew member had a heart attack after drowning and was dead by the time he reached the hospital. The death did Not occur during filming.

Feb. 17, 2012 -- Country singer turned actor Dwight Yoakum is departing The Lone Ranger, in which he was to play villain Butch Cavendish. Deadline reports he had to quit due to a scheduling conflict.

Dec. 8, 2011 --Ruth Wilson (in the upcoming Anna Karenina) and Tom Wilkinson (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Green Hornet, Batman Begins) will play the female lead "Rebecca Reid" and the villain "Latham Cole," respectively, in The Lone Ranger.

Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff of The Naked Brothers Band reveal that both of them have a crush on "Twilight" beauty Kristen Stewart. "Kristen was really hot and amazingly sexy in that movie 'Adventureland,'" 14-year-old Nat tells BeRED.

Having the same idea with his older brother, 11-year-old Alex claims, "Yes, she's amazing!". Then, he adds, "I saw 'Twilight,' but Nat didn't. I've seen more of her movies, so she's mine. Kristen Stewart for me, Jessica Biel for Nat. Hear that, Kristen Stewart? I've got dibs on you!"

The Naked Brothers Band is a pop/rock band which is created by brothers Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff. It is formed based on Nickelodeon's "The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie" and "The Naked Brothers Band" TV series. The Naked Brothers Band's Nat and Alex Wolff Have Crush on Kristen Stewart

Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff have admitted that they have a crush on Kristen Stewart. She "was really hot and amazingly sexy in that movie 'Adventureland'", Nat shares. Alex then chimes in, "Yes, she's amazing! I saw 'Twilight', but Nat didn't. I've seen more of her movies, so she's mine. Kristen Stewart for me, Jessica Biel for Nat. Hear that, Kristen Stewart? I've got dibs on you!"

Kristen herself has not yet commented on the twosome's admiration for her. She currently is having a very hectic shooting schedule as the filming of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is not yet completed.

'Fame' remake lines up cast

'Fame' remake lines up cast
Nine Hollywood hopefuls want you to remember their names.

MGM has compiled most of the lead cast for its accelerating remake of the 1980 musical "Fame." Kristy Flores, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Naturi Naughton, Kay Panabaker, Kherington Payne, Collins Pennie, Walter Perez and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle have joined the ensemble.

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star Thomas Dekker also is in negotiations to take one of the remaining leads. And Debbie Allen, who played Lydia in the original, is rumored to be in line for a cameo, though not as the same character.

The studio is seeking actors for the adult roles.

Written by Allison Burnett and Aline Brosh McKenna, the reinvention will be directed by choreographer Kevin Tancharoen. Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg of Lakeshore Entertainment are producing the $25 million project along with Mark Canton. Becky Sloviter is overseeing for MGM.
