This is a really long documentary about the sci-fi mini-series "Taken" (which came onto television screens in 2002 in America, but later elsewhere). I found the documentary on the final disc of the "Taken" DVD. Practically all the main people involved with production speak, which is good, although in my opinion there wasn't enough from Dakota Fanning. Quite a lot of information was given about general alien abductions and the alien subsection of the sci-fi genre, which I found to be not particularly convincing or entertaining. There is also a fair bit on writing "Taken", which was pretty boring as "Taken" itself I didn't find too wonderful or well-written. I was much more interested in the information given about special effects the aliens, explosions/fire, other effects, stuff like that which was nice. We were also informed a little about casting choices and the casting process, and there were some jokes about the "aliens" on the film. A nice documentary for fans of "Taken", but not so much for others.
