Fun Stuff

Goofs:
Errors in geography: It says that Baker Bowl, where the Eagles first played was at Broad and 15th streets in Philadelphia. Those streets don't intersect, they run parallel, as Broad is where 14th would be. Broad and Huntingdon was the correct intersection. more
Quotes:
Eagles linebacker: I remember a play. 4th down punting situation. As soon as I snapped the ball, and brought my head up; WHAM! I look up and saw all these stars, and I also saw the number; blue 52. And I went up to him and said, "You son of a b****! I'll get you." more

Excellent informative team history...An Eagles fans Nirvana..., 18 April 2005
9/10
Author: cheftaz from United States

As a Phila. native living in another city, never made me appreciate my home town boys all that much more. After our{Eagles} went to the big show this year 2004\05 I needed more info to fight all the nay sayers here in Maryland...Ravens,Ravens,Ravens blah,blah,blah...I realized i didn't know as much as i thought a person born and bred there should or would know(not too much.) So I searched high and low for just such a piece of valuable info to learn from, besides getting to see the memories of my childhood emerge in front of me, I actually started to tear up...the emotions were still that vivid in my head i actually turned it to pause to compose myself in front of my friends. They having recently won a Super Bowl in 2000 made me an easy target to throw the "We got our ring, where's yours?" type of remarks... After they seen how I got from this movie they all started to borrow it from me, now as of April 2005 I now have requests for game tickets to see my team, and converted a few too. Very informative, great guests, tons of stats, the new memories, reliving the old ones too (I'M 44yrs. old) very cool archive footage too. If your not a fan of this team, I guarantee this season you'll watch at least one game in a different light that the Eagles play. Guarantee. This will also make you more aware of the Passion of true Philadelphians. Good Watching. And E-A-G-L-E-S....
