The Wolf not only dresses like Fletch (including a Los Angeles Lakers jersey), but is also a journalist who creates fake names and disguises during his investigations. The synthesizer soundtrack that plays during some of the Wolf's scenes recalls Harold Faltermeyer's Fletch score.
